Beaumont Gibbs are open for business, supporting our clients.

Looking after our clients in this difficult time.

Hello to you all.

I am sure lots of our clients may be concerned about the current situation, especially our tenants, landlords and clients, who are in the process of buying or selling a property with us.

We wanted to reassure you that we are open, we have put measures in place that will enable us to carry out our duties and responsibilities during this difficult time.

We will be keeping a skeleton staff where possible inside our office, on Plumstead Common Road on a reduced hours basis. This will enable clients to pick up and and drop of keys via appointment only. We can arrange appointments in office too, by arrangement.

Our main workforce will now be working remotely, all staff have access to all the necessary computer systems and programs they need, our staff are also multi trained meaning that we should still be able to resolve all problems and help in the event of some of our staff falling ill.

All our staff will be wearing latex gloves whilst out on appointment and wearing shoe boots, so to minimize any risk of contamination. We will be giving these to any people that we show round any property too.

In regard to tenants and landlords, we are keeping abreast of all government guidance and we are here to support you all.

If you need us we are here, contacting us is the same as before, same numbers and same email addresses.

Yours sincerely

The Beaumont Gibbs Team

The rental market remains active in May 2026, but conditions are changing. Demand is still strong, rent growth has eased, and tenant expectations are rising. Here is what landlords should be thinking about now.
