Updated guidance relating to latest rental possession action process

Guidance for landlords and tenants in the private and social rented sectors to explain the possession action process in the county courts in England and Wales has been updated.

The latest advice reflects the fact that the legislative need to self-isolate due to Covid-19 has been removed.

You will no longer be legally required to self-isolate if you test positive for Covid-19. New guidance advises people who test positive to stay at home and avoid contact with other people.

You will no longer be legally required to self-isolate if you are an unvaccinated close contact, and will no longer be advised to test for seven days if you are a fully vaccinated close contact.
