Get ready to party like February 14 never happened. Eat Your Heart Out is no average night on the tiles, it’s a chaotic anti-Valentine’s riot held below ground level at Underbar on Leake Street. From immersive entertainment to cabaret shows and DJ sets from Metronomy’s Anna Prior, it’s going to be a winner. Oh and there’s a pretty kitsch dress code too, so prepare to look as sickening as possible.

Created by Purveyors of London's Spirit, Portobello Road Gin – The Ginstitute is the ultimate gin experience, allowing discerning drinkers to craft their own unique gin recipe to take home.
The interactive and intimate experience will captivate any intellectual (and thirsty) fellow. As master distiller and entertaining raconteur Jake F.Burger and his expert team of ginstructors take guests on a historic whistle stop journey, revising the miserable gin era of London in the 1700’s made famous by Hogarth’s iconic ‘Gin Lane’ tableau, through 300 years of heritage belonging to Britain’s national spirit.

‘Mary Poppins’ is a gorgeously warm kids’ story that’s burrowed deep into the hearts of Londoners of all ages. It creates a seductive myth of a city that’s awash with cheery cockneys and lovable upper-crust eccentrics who roam picturesque tree-lined streets with a spring in their step. Cameron Mackintosh’s returning 2004 musical version couldn’t look more magical; the Banks family’s Cherry Tree Lane residence becomes a giant doll’s house of wonders, opening up to reveal charming Victorian interiors and plenty of magical surprises.

This year-long arts festival celebrates refugees from Nazi Europe and highlights their impact on British culture. Expect a vibrant and all-encompassing programme of exhibitions, performances and events across a variety of London venues. Highlights include an exhibit devoted to the work of Bauhaus graphic designer George Adams and a celebration of the work of musician and writer Hans Keller.

I can personally confirm that you absolutely don’t have to have read Elena Ferrante’s acclaimed Neapolitan novels to appreciate this gloriously widescreen, five-hour, two-part adaptation from April De Angelis, which transfers to the NT in souped-up form after a stint at the Rose Theatre Kingston a couple of years back.

Fire Hazard Games launches an exciting, new urban game for adults, based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s Gothic masterpiece, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Exploring schisms of identity, the unreliability of memory, moral conflict, terrible ambition, and unbridled hedonism, Jekyll / Hyde confronts players, asking what they would do if they could get away with murder.
Waking up to the aftermath of Mr Hyde, players are plunged into a thrilling world of investigation and moral ambiguity as their twisted deeds from the night before are revealed. Taking on the role of Dr Jekyll, they must retrace their steps to uncover their hidden past and make decisions about their future, all while under increasing time pressure.
